Gyros announces new Ayr restaurant

Popular Ayrshire restaurant Gyros has confirmed plans to open a second venue in Ayr as the business expands locally.

The new Greek restaurant will be based on Fullarton Street, opposite Ayr bus station, and will join the company’s existing operations in Irvine and on Sandgate in Ayr.

The business, who already operate a takeaway on the town’s Sandgate, says customers can expect traditional Greek dishes, desserts, live music and entertainment at the new location.

Gyros specialises in authentic Mediterranean food, including the traditional Greek dish the restaurant is named after.
