Council consultation on potential budget cuts
North Ayrshire Council has launched a public consultation on potential budget cuts for next year, as the local authority faces a financial gap of up to £8.3 million in 2027. Among the proposals is a reduction of 13 teaching posts across North Ayrshire schools from August 2027.
