Ayrshire Asda staff raise Children in Need funds

Colleagues from Asda stores in Kilmarnock and Irvine have taken part in a charity sea dip at Irvine Beach to launch fundraising for BBC Children in Need.

Around 30 colleagues from Asda stores across the West of Scotland took part in the event

Each store has been challenged to raise at least £1,000 for this year’s campaign.

Teresa Bruce, community and customer champion at Asda Kilmarnock, described the event as a big team effort, despite the chilly water and praised the sunny conditions and the Isle of Arran looking spectacular in the distance.
