Seascapes exhibition opens in Ayr

The Crafty Coo in Ayr is hosting an exhibition of seascapes by Prestwick artist and lifelong sailor Lynda Garman. Her paintings are inspired by Scotland’s western coastline and include works from her Malin Series, drawing on locations such as Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Kyles of Bute. Garman combines acrylic and oils to explore the changing light and mood of the coast, with her work moving between realism and abstraction. The exhibition runs until Friday, October 9.
