Stevenston car fire prompts police appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was deliberately set on fire in Stevenston. Emergency services were called to the Millhill Road area at around 1.10am on Tuesday, July 28, where the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the blaze. Arran ferry in Inverclyde work move

Arran’s new ferry has left the Ferguson Marine shipyard in Inverclyde and been moved to Inchgreen in Greenock for final fitting-out work. Sub-contractors will complete the remaining work of the MV Glen Rosa including installation of the vessel’s liquefied natural gas propulsion system.
