The Maybole Arms has reduced its asking price as the search continues for a new owner. The long-established pub on Kirkoswald Drive is now being marketed for offers over £179,995, down from its previous asking price of £220,000. The sale comes as the current owner prepares to retire after more than 20 years. The fully licensed freehold property includes a fully equipped kitchen and a two-bedroom flat above the pub with garden space and private parking.
Ayr United supporters are being invited to have their say on proposals for a fan zone at Somerset Park next season.
