Scotland star Gilmour delighted at stadium rename

Billy Gilmour has become the official sponsor of the stadium in his hometown of Ardrossan.

The Anderson Terrace ground, formerly known as Winton Park, was officially renamed the Billy Gilmour Stadium after an agreement with owners Ardrossan Community Sports Hub.

The Scotland international visited the venue this week while in the country on international duty.

Gilmour said the move was a proud moment for him, with strong family links to Ardrossan Winton Rover with his younger brother Harvey currently signed with the first team.
