Killie make temporary Beechwood move

Kilmarnock will play their home matches in the group stage of the Premier Sports Cup at an alternative venue while work continues on the new Rugby Park playing service

Neil McCann’s side will host Raith Rovers at Beechwood Park, home of Auchinleck Talbot, on July 14 at 7.45pm, followed by Hamilton Academical on July 21, kicking off the same time.

The temporary move has been arranged due to ongoing renovations to install a new hybrid grass pitch at Rugby Park.

The club has thanked the Lowland League West club for accommodating the arrangement and says ticket details will be announced in due course.
