A South Ayrshire couple are celebrating 60 years of marriage with family and friends.
Thomas and Georgina Tait, who first met in their hometown of Ayr, marked their diamond wedding anniversary after six decades together.
The couple married at the Good Shepherd Cathedral in Ayr and now have two children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
South Ayrshire Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited them at home to mark the occasion and presented them with a bouquet on behalf of the council.
