Calm Boxes launch by Miss GB finalist

A Miss Great Britain Ayrshire finalist from Dreghorn is aiming to make a difference in local schools with a new mental health initiative.

Deni Kennedy has launched “Calm Boxes” designed to help children manage anxiety, stress and emotional wellbeing in the classroom.

The boxes include supportive items to help pupils regulate their emotions and feel reassured during difficult moments.

Deni will take part in the Miss GB Ayrshire final at Troon Concert Hall on Saturday June 27, where finalists are also raising awareness for causes important to them.
