Project to bring Glenbuck back to life
A PROJECT has been launched to bring a former Ayrshire mining village, and birthplace of a former legendary Liverpool manager, back to life. The village of Glenbuck, which was the childhood home of Bill Shankly, is now largely abandoned but The Shankly Glenbuck Village CIC wants to rebuild it as a social history museum.
