Ayr Nursery earns Scotland accreditation

Heads of Ayr Nursery has become the first nursery in South Ayrshire to receive the Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland Early Learning Accreditation.

The award recognises the nursery’s efforts to support breastfeeding families and provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for parents and children.

Staff at the Ayr nursery say supporting breastfeeding is an important part of helping children get the healthiest possible start in life while ensuring families feel respected and encouraged throughout their feeding journey.

The team described the accreditation as a major milestone and thanked staff for their dedication in helping the nursery achieve the recognition.
