Concert Hall hosting Miss GB Ayrshire fundraiser

Ayrshire Cancer Support and Ayrshire Hospice are set to benefit from a major fundraiser during the Miss GB Ayrshire grand final at Troon Concert Hall next month.

Organisers hope to raise more than £3,000 through advertising in an official commemorative brochure which will be handed out to a sell-out crowd of 350 guests.

The competition will crown winners in the Miss, Ms and Ms Classic categories, with contestants ranging in age from 19 to 71.

Event director Kay Morgan said the pageant has already helped many women gain confidence, start new careers and make positive changes in their lives.

Businesses across Ayrshire have also backed the event through sponsorship and advertising support.
