Ayrshire cancer charities have shared their delight at the return of an “incredibly popular” fitness event this summer.
Ayrshire Cancer Support and Ayrshire Hospice are partnering up to host the Colour Dash on Saturday June 13 at Irvine’s Eglinton Park, for the first time since 2024.
The joint fundraiser is said to be an “unforgettable day” by organisers who are including an event T-shirt and a fundraising page for each participants’ registration.
A charity spokesperson said: “Join us for fun, fitness and a serious splash of colour. Run, jog, or walk your way around the scenic route where you’ll be drenched in dazzling clouds of powder.
“Gather your friends, family or colleagues and get ready to embrace the day.
“Expect and abundance of smiles, laughter and community spirit – this is a day you don’t want to miss.”
Participants of the 5K run in North Ayrshire will be given the choice to fundraise for either charity when signing up.
Registration prices start at £20 per adult and £10 per child, with Ayrshire Cancer Support offering early bird prices of £15 and £7.50.
Anyone wishing to take part in the run can register here.
