Police are reappealing for public assistance in their search for a man who went missing in East Ayrshire earlier this month.
Jason Fraser Anderson was last seen in Catrine at around 6pm on Friday 12 December with the force becoming “extremely concerned” for his welfare.
The 33-year-old is described to be 5-foot-7-inches tall and of medium build with short fair-coloured hair.
In a statement, Inspector Deans said: “Extensive searches and enquiries are being carried out to trace him and establish his movements since he was last seen.
“If anyone has seen Jason since Friday 12 December, please contact us. We ask those living in the Catrine area to please check their doorbell or dashcam footage and contact us if it holds anything which could be relevant to our investigation.”
“We also ask Jason, if he sees this appeal to contact us and let us know he is safe.”
Deans made a further plea for people in the East Ayrshire village to check gardens, outbuildings and sheds to aid the force’s search.
