CMA says fuel price rises driven by oil costs

Fuel prices across the UK are rising again, and a new report from the Competition and Markets Authority says it’s being driven by global oil costs, not retailers increasing profits.
The watchdog says prices have jumped since the Middle East conflict began on February 28, with petrol up around 24p a litre.
Drivers here in Ayrshire are being urged to shop around, with potential savings of up to £9 a tank depending on where you fill up.
