Auchenharvie Amateur Swimming Club is paying tribute to long-serving president Roseann McLean as she steps down after 45 years of volunteering. Roseann, now 81, first became involved with the club when her son David joined to learn to swim. Ayr bridge reopens ahead of schedule

Ayr's Millennium Bridge has reopened to the public following the successful completion of a programme of essential maintenance works. Ayrshire Roads Alliance confirmed that the project was finished well ahead of the original anticipated completion date of Sunday, June 28. Memorial Cup returns to Winton Park

The Taylor Watterson Memorial Cup will return to Winton Park in Ardrossan on Saturday, June 13, with teams from across the area taking part in the annual charity football tournament.
