Blaze break out at Kilmarnock business park

Firefighters have continued to tackle a blaze which broke out at a business park in Kilmarnock earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to a building at Rowallan Business Park on Southcraig Avenue shortly after 6 am as six fire appliances, two height appliances and specialist resources attended the scene

There are no reported injuries.

Glasgow Road is closed between Kilmaurs Road and the Southcraigs Drive roundabout, while nearby residents are being advised to keep windows and doors closed due to heavy smoke.

Revitalize Fitness and Spa, where the fire is understood to have started, says staff are “devastated and heartbroken” by the damage.
