Galloway Country Fair returns to Drumlanrig Castle August 8–9

The Galloway Country Fair is back at Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August, with organisers promising the biggest event yet. North Ayrshire Council confirms £8.3m roads programme

North Ayrshire Council has approved a major investment in roads and infrastructure across the region. The £8.3 million programme will be delivered over the next 12 months. A significant portion of the funding will be spent on carriageway resurfacing, with major works planned in Irvine, as well as investment in areas including Stevenston and Kilbirnie. Man seen having sex with bin in Ayr incident

A man has admitted a public indecency offence following an incident that took place in Ayr on Hallowe’en. The case was heard at Ayr Sheriff Court. Craig Provan pleaded guilty after being observed engaging in inappropriate behaviour involving a bin and consuming cardboard during the incident on October 31 last year. The case was described as involving unusual conduct.
