Enzo’s in Irvine has been named among the top 40 fish and chip takeaways in the UK by the National Fish and Chip Awards.
The Ayr Road business was selected from entries across the country, with judges considering food quality, customer service, industry expertise and commitment to sustainable practices.
Enzo’s is one of two Ayrshire chippies in the running, alongside The Fish Works in Largs.
The overall winner will be announced at the finals in London in February 2027.
An Indian restaurant in Saltcoats is celebrating after being named the best in Ayrshire at the Asian Restaurant Awards. Motherland Spice on Bradshaw Street picked up the accolade at a ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow this week. Owner Madhav Bandhari and his wife Radha thanked their staff and customers, saying the award recognised the hard work, dedication and support behind the business.
