Largs residents in anti-social behaviour concerns

Residents in a block of flats in Largs say they feel unsafe at home amid continuing reports of anti-social behaviour.

Locals staying at Gateside Street have described alleged intimidation, threats and disturbances, with concerns said to have continued for more than a year.

Royal Mail has suspended deliveries to the block following what it described as a series of incidents involving a dog, and said police had been informed.

North Ayrshire Council says it is aware of the concerns and has been engaging with relevant parties and partner agencies, while councillor Tom Marshall says he is pursuing the matter with the ASBO team.
