Ferguson named top travel consultant
John Ferguson, cruise director at Thorne Travel, has been named Cruise Consultant of the Year 2026 at the SPAA Sparkle Awards. Ferguson is based at the agency's Prestwick branch and also works across their locations in Kilwinning and Largs. He joined as a travel consultant in 2016 and has since collected a number of industry accolades. Thorne Travel said cruising remains a major passion for him, both through booking holidays for customers and travelling on cruise ships himself.
