Police are investigating after Nardini’s Café in Largs was targeted during an overnight break-in.
Officers were called to the Greenock Road premises at around 7am on Thursday, June 25, following reports of a break-in and theft. A patio window was smashed during the incident and cash was stolen from the popular café. Police Scotland has confirmed enquiries are continuing as officers work to establish the circumstances surrounding the break-in.
The Maybole Arms has reduced its asking price as the search continues for a new owner. The long-established pub on Kirkoswald Drive is now being marketed for offers over £179,995, down from its previous asking price of £220,000. The sale comes as the current owner prepares to retire after more than 20 years. The fully licensed freehold property includes a fully equipped kitchen and a two-bedroom flat above the pub with garden space and private parking.
