Council approves 21,000 Blue Badges
North Ayrshire Council has revealed that more than 21,000 Blue Badge applications have been approved across the area during the last five years. Figures released through a Freedom of Information request show that 23,554 applications were submitted between 2021 and 2025. During that period, 21,334 applications were approved, while 1,947 were refused.
