Brazilian pilot makes Ayrshire stop during historic round-the-world flight
A Brazilian pilot attempting to fly solo around the world made an unexpected stop in Ayrshire as part of his record-breaking journey. Alex Frota landed at Prestwick during his global mission, which spans more than 74,000 kilometres across five continents and 45 countries. he spent time exploring Largs and Kelburn Castle, where he highlighted the cultural links between Scotland and Brazil.
