Prestwick hotel unveils major renovation plans

Renovation work is underway at The Carlton Hotel in Prestwick following a recent change in ownership. The hotel, now operated by the Fitzsimmon Group, is set to undergo a series of upgrades including the addition of a brand-new restaurant and bar.

All 57 staff have been retained following the takeover, with the hotel continuing to operate as normal during the works. Management say the improvements are part of an effort to enhance the venue’s offering for weddings, dining and events.
