A Stewarton coffee shop is preparing to celebrate a major milestone as it marks its second anniversary. Trizio Coffee House on Lainshaw Street is inviting the local community to join in the celebrations on Sunday, May 3.
The event will feature a full day of entertainment, including a barbecue running from 1pm until 4pm, followed by pizza into the evening. There will also be an open mic stage, with instruments provided, giving local musicians and performers the chance to take part.
Groups around Ayrshire have praised each others' efforts for the amount of money raised as a result of last weekends Kiltwalk in Glasgow. The event, where 20,000 strollers embarked on the route from Clydebank or Glasgow Green to Balloch, saw over £4 million raised for thousands for charities in Scotland.
