The owner of Intrigue in Kilwinning has confirmed she is stepping away after putting the business up for sale earlier this year. The gift shop, located just off Main Street, was listed in early March with a leasehold asking price of £35,000 as part of retirement plans.

Seonaid Gourlay, who has run the shop for 13 years, shared a message thanking customers for their support over the years. Intrigue, which first opened in 1983 under Aileen Paterson, is now being offered as an opportunity for a new owner to take on a long-established business in the town.
