Amanda Jean
Amanda Jean is an Ayrshire-born radio presenter and solo entertainer, proudly hosting Evening VibesMonday to Thursday from 7pm on Now Ayrshire Radio. Known for her bubbly personality, big laugh and feel-good energy, she’s become a familiar and much-loved voice across the region.
Based in Saltcoats, Amanda is also one of Ayrshire’s most vibrant performers, entertaining audiences at events and venues across the west coast. With powerful vocals and a natural stage presence, she brings heart, humour and that unmistakable Ayrshire charm to every performance — whether it’s crowd anthems, singalong favourites or big emotional ballads.
A standout moment in her career came when she opened the main stage at Pride Glasgow 2017, a milestone that helped open many doors and shape her journey in both radio and live performance.
Deeply proud of her roots, Amanda describes Ayrshire as her heart and soul, and presenting across the area she loves is a dream come true. She also writes and records her own music, including her track Girls Night Out, created with a producer in Nashville.
In 2025, Amanda was named a People’s Choice Awards finalist and won ‘Highly Recommended Entertainer’ — a special achievement made possible by the incredible support of the Ayrshire community she proudly represents.
