Hit drama filmed in Ayrshire

The BBC drama The Bombing of Pan Am 103 is now available to watch on Netflix.

The six-part series tells the story of the December 1988 Lockerbie bombing and stars Connor Swindells and Eddie Marsan.

Several scenes were filmed in Ayrshire, including at Prestwick Airport, which doubled as London Heathrow, New York’s JFK Airport and Malta Airport.

The Gateside Inn near Beith was also used as a filming location, doubling as The Whitehorse Pub.
