Pubs, bars and clubs across North Ayrshire are preparing for the upcoming World Cup, with 57 venues applying for late licences to show matches. Emergency services were called to a multi-vehicle crash on the A78 between Irvine and Stevenston at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, April 21. The collision caused significant disruption, with traffic diverted and long tailbacks reported in the area.
