Promoter:
The promotion is organised and operated by Now Ayrshire Radio Ltd, 5 Whitfield Drive, Ayr, KA8 9RX (“the Promoter”).

1. Eligibility

The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who reside within a KA postcode area, which reflects the station’s licensed broadcast area. Proof of age and residency may be required.

Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter – Paid Entry

To enter via SMS, text the keyword NOW to 62999 during the competition entry period.

• Each SMS entry costs £1.50 + standard network rate

• Multiple SMS entries are permitted

• Incorrect, incomplete, late, or invalid entries will not be entered into the draw but may still be charged

• Entry via SMS does not guarantee a call back

3. Free Route of Entry

A free entry route is available via the entry form here as per these Terms and Conditions.

• Free entry is limited to one entry per person per competition week

• Free entries are entered into the same draw and have an equal chance of winning as paid entries

• No purchase is necessary to enter via the free route

4. Entry Period

Each weekly competition opens at 5:00pm on Friday and closes at 4:00pm on the following Friday.

Entries received outside of this period will not be included in the draw, but may still be charged.

5. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid SMS and free entries received during the entry period. The draw will be conducted manually using a randomised process.

The Promoter’s decision is final in all matters relating to the competition.

6. Winner Contact & Redraw

The winner will be contacted using the details provided at the time of entry.

If the selected winner:

• Cannot be contacted immediately, or

• Is found to be ineligible,

an immediate redraw may take place until a valid winner is identified.

No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

7. Prize

The prize is £500 (five hundred pounds sterling).

• The prize will normally be paid in cash

• Where cash payment is not practical, the Promoter reserves the right to pay the prize by bank transfer

• The prize will be fulfilled within a reasonable timeframe following winner verification

No alternative prizes are available and the prize is non-transferable.

8. Publicity

By entering, entrants agree that the Promoter may announce the winner’s first name and general area of residence on-air and via the station’s platforms.

Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as social media announcements). Participation is optional and may be declined at any time by notifying the Promoter. No additional compensation will be provided.

9. Data Protection

Now Ayrshire Radio Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZB911924.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and will not be used for marketing purposes unless the entrant has provided explicit opt-in consent.

10. Liability

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or unable to be entered due to technical issues, network failure, or any other reason beyond its reasonable control.

11. General

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to technical failure, fraud, or regulatory changes.

Participation in the competition constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
