ON-AIR Competitions | Terms & Conditions

1. 1. Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over, unless a different age limit is stated for a specific prize.
   2. Only one entry per person is permitted per competition unless otherwise stated.
   3. Employees, volunteers, or contractors of Now Ayrshire Radio or prize partners (and their immediate families) are not eligible to enter.
   4. Entry methods (such as text, message, email, form or social media) will be clearly stated on air and/or online.
   5. All entries must be received before the advertised closing date and time. Late, incomplete or invalid entries will not be accepted.
   6. No purchase or payment is required to enter unless otherwise stated.
   7. Winners will be selected at random from valid entries, or by a judging panel if skill-based. Where judging applies, at least one independent judge will be involved.
   8. Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry. If a winner cannot be reached at the time of giveaway, another winner may be selected.
   9. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless otherwise stated.
   10. If a prize becomes unavailable, the Station or prize partner may substitute an item of equal or greater value.
   11. When a prize is supplied by a third-party partner, they are responsible for delivery and fulfilment. The Station accepts no liability for delays, loss or damage caused by a prize provider.
   12. By entering, you agree that your name, town and/or voice may be used on air and online for publicity purposes if you win.
   13. Personal data is collected solely for administering the competition and contacting winners. It will not be used for marketing unless you explicitly consent.
   14. Some prizes may include alcohol as part of a mixed package (for example, a hamper). Entrants must be aged 18 or over to claim such prizes, and proof of age will be required. Alcohol is included as an incidental item only. The Station does not promote or encourage excessive or irresponsible drinking.
   15. The Station reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw a competition if events beyond its control make this necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated on air or online.
   16. The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to technical faults, network failures or social media outages.
   17. The Station’s decision in all matters relating to competitions is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   18. If any part of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining sections shall continue to apply.
   19. These terms comply with the Ofcom Broadcasting Code (Section 10), the ASA CAP Code (Rules 8.17–8.28) and UK guidance on prize promotions.
